Geoff Harper

Geoff has been a member of the Board since September 2002. He held the position of Deputy Chairman from 2006 to 2007 and is currently Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee.

His involvement started as a result of an earlier family association with the Retarded Citizens Welfare Association.

Geoff is now semi-retired but has worked in a variety of jobs including: accounts; the Australian Public Service; a cook; and a real estate agent. He has owned and managed a small business. He works today on a casual basis, including as editor of Oakdale Services' "news & muse".

He and partner, Sue, live in a converted church on 2 acres at Glenora, referred to by Geoff as "The Prickle Farm". They also own a campervan. Maintenance of the gardens and the home together with their wish to get out and about in their van keep them well occupied.
