Geoff Harper

Geoff has been a member of the Board since September 2002. He held the position of Deputy Chairman from 2006 to 2007 and Treasurer from 2008 to 2010.

His involvement started as a result of an earlier family association with the Retarded Citizens Welfare Association.

Geoff is now semi-retired but has worked in a variety of jobs including: accounts; the Australian Public Service; a cook; and a real estate agent. He has owned and managed a small business. He works today on a casual basis, including as editor of Oakdale Services' "news & muse".

He and partner, Sue, live in a converted church on 2 acres at Glenora, referred to by Geoff as "The Prickle Farm". They also own a campervan. Maintenance of the gardens and the home together with their wish to get out and about in their van keep them well occupied.
