Sarah Patterson
Sarah's involvement with Oakdale began in 2009, when she joined the Finance Committee.
Sarah currently works for the Department of Treasury and Finance, managing staff in the collection of state taxes for the Revenue Branch. Besides looking after her staff, Sarah is kept busy building new processes and systems to improve services to clients and make it easier for taxpayers to comply with their taxation obligations.
While engaged in a diverse and interesting role, Sarah was keen to be involved in an organisation that had a very positive impact on people's lives. She has found that her involvement with Oakdale to date has been very personally rewarding and she hopes to put in more than she gets out.
Sarah brings a background in project management, change management and organisational development. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Law/Arts from the University of Tasmania and is an admitted legal practitioner, although she has no intention to practice.
Sarah is married to another Treasury staff member, which makes the walk home to West Hobart interesting.
Sarah joined the Board in 2010.
